A Historic Celebration of Hockey

It’s more than just a community festival; it’s a national celebration! With more than 14 events over four days, Hockey Day in Canada brings to Canmore once-in-a-lifetime opportunities like a skate with the Stanley Cup, a draft party for the celebrity game, a live recording of the 32 Thoughts Podcast, and the Alumni Classic game.

The main event is on January 18 at the Canmore Golf & Curling Club. Join us as Canmore plays host to the national live broadcast of Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada with special guests like Ron MacLean, Kevin Bieksa, Kelly Hrudey, Jennifer Botteril, Elliotte Friedman and Kyle Bukauskis.

Kickoff Concert

Location: Canmore Golf and Curling Club – Curling Rink

Time: Doors open at 7 p.m., Concert starts at 8 p.m.

This is a ticketed event. Ticket sales begin on November 18, 2024

For one night only, the Canmore Golf and Curling Club will transform into Canmore’s largest music venue, creating a unique setting for an exclusive performance. With only 800 tickets available, fans are encouraged to secure their spot early for this rare and intimate experience that will raise funds for hockey in the Bow Valley.

This event is locally supported by Rainstream.

32 Thoughts Podcast – Live Recording – FREE Event

Location: TBD

Time: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

This is a free, non-ticketed event.

Join NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman and Kyle Bukauskas for a live recording of the 32 Thoughts Podcast, which is a weekly deep-dive into the biggest news and interviews from the hockey world.

Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada Banquet

Location: Canmore Golf and Curling Club – Curling Rink

Time: Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

This is a ticketed event. Tickets will be released at a later date.

Celebrate 25 years of Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada at the annual banquet event. The event will include a silent auction, presentations, and great food—all to raise money for local hockey in the Bow Valley.

Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada Breakfast with the Cup with Andrew Ference and guests

Location: TBD

Time: 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

This is a ticketed event. Tickets will be released at a later date.

Join Andrew Ference for breakfast and a panel conversation with his special guests – including the Stanley Cup! This event is popular with kids and adults alike, and is a special opportunity to see the Stanley Cup in person.

Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada Alumni and Celebrity Classic

Location: Canmore Recreation Centre

Time: Doors open at 6:30 p.m., Face-off at 7:30 p.m.

This is a ticketed event. Tickets will be released at a later date.

Watch your favourite NHL Alumni and other celebrities face off at the annual Alumni and Celebrity game.

Then, everyone is welcome to join us at the Alumni Game After-Party at the Canmore Golf and Curling Club, which will be transformed into Canmore’s largest party venue, including a DJ and full bar service.

Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada Festival

Location: Canmore Recreation Centre

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This is a FREE, non-ticketed event.

Ron Maclean will be broadcasting LIVE from the Canmore Golf and Curling Club, which will be home to the Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada Festival.
