UnWined Presents: The Wine Workshop #12 Herbal & Herbaceous Flavours

Love wine? Want to learn why you love the wines you do? Join us for monthly, guided, exclusive tastings in store! On the last Friday of each month we’ll cover a different topic related to the flavours and sensations of wine. The bottles will be covered for modesty, so we can sip without any preconceptions getting in the way of our enjoyment. While it can seem intimidating to taste a wine blind, the idea is to just have fun with it with no judgements. At the end of the night you’ll go home with one bottle of what we tasted to enjoy another time!

Happy New Year! The last pairing of flavours to examine for red and white wines is that of Herbal and Herbaceous. These are all the green flavours of wine ranging from a whiff of sage off a Cote du Rhone to the powerful grassy notes in a Sauvignon Blanc. You will learn more about what wines pair well with certain foods, and how to ask the right questions to find the right wine in the future. In addition to taking home a bottle at the end of the night, you will become a part of the UnWined Insiders. After each tasting event we host you will receive an email recap of the topics we covered, the wines we tasted, and notes for those wines.

As we are tasting wines, this is an 18+ event.
