Adventure Film Collective – Film Series

Presented by the Bow Valley Film Institute, the Adventure Film Collective – Film Series are all about coming together as a mountain community. We’ll feature local musicians, guest speakers and great local beer from Canmore Brewing Company.

Immerse yourself in captivating stories of exploration and adrenaline-pumping action. Whether you’re a seasoned outdoor enthusiast or just love a good film, this event is perfect for everyone. Grab a beer, mingle with like-minded individuals, and get inspired by epic tales from around the Rockies.

Our guest speaker for the first film night of the series is Jill Wheatley. Jill is an accomplished mountaineer, explorer, writer & presenter. In 2014, Jill was involved in an accident where she suffered a traumatic brain injury resulting in 70% loss of vision and countless surgeries & hospital stays. Her recovery journey continues to inspire thousands as she has figuratively and literally climbed her way back to the summit.

Tickets are $10. Funds raised from ticket sales will go directly to Jill Wheatley’s recovery fund. The event takes place between 7pm and 9pm.
